Analyze your Launchpad performance
Learn more about the analytics data of your Launchpad to get user engagement insights.

Track how users interact with your Launchpad to measure engagement and identify opportunities to improve your content.
View Launchpad analytics
- Go to Experiences > Launchpads in Studio.
- Click the Launchpad you want to review.
- Open the Analytics tab. The analytics page shows engagement data over time, displayed in your local time zone.
- Use the date range selector in the top-right corner to adjust the time frame. The selected range applies to everything on the page — the scoreboard, chart, and CSV export.
Scoreboard
The scoreboard at the top of the analytics page summarizes three key metrics for the selected time frame:
- Total Opens: The total number of times users clicked the Launchpad beacon to open it.
- Unique Users: The number of distinct users who opened the Launchpad.
- Average Events Per Open: The total events (links opened, Flows launched, searches performed, articles opened) divided by the total number of opens. A higher number indicates users are engaging with more content per visit.
Chart
The chart shows daily engagement trends over the selected time frame. Hover over a data point to see the breakdown for that day. The chart tracks daily unique users across four event types:
- Links Open: A user clicked a link in a Links block.
- Launched Flows: A user triggered a Flow from a Flow list block.
- Knowledge base articles opened: A user opened an article from the knowledge base search results.
- Searches: A user performed a search using the knowledge base integration.
Export Launchpad data
- On the Launchpad's analytics page, adjust the date range to cover the period you want to export.
- Click Export CSV. The generated file includes a row for each event type per day.
The name column in the CSV contains the Launchpad event name. See the event reference table below for definitions.
Launchpad events reference
Use these event names when building reports outside of Appcues using CSV exports or an integration. Certain Launchpad events can also be exported via the Public API.

If the data doesn't look right
- Verify the date range covers the period you expect. The default range may not include the dates you're looking for.
- Confirm the Launchpad is published and has been live during the selected time frame.
- Check that users are qualifying for the Launchpad's targeting rules. If no users are eligible, there will be no analytics data.
- If CSV data looks incomplete, confirm you're reviewing the correct Launchpad — each Launchpad has its own analytics page.
